I want to ensure leadership of NFM is aware that their own employees and those of Assurant are blocking customers with legitimate concerns from escalating those concerns through customer service channels.

Delivery

Sofa and Recliner delivered on 10/8 was just fantastic the two gentlemen were delayed because a fall downpour held them up. They called and explained and we agreed didn’t want wet furniture so they waited till it passed and delivery made successfully. Thank you it is just what I ordered.

Hard warev not included. Tough ***

Bought 2 beds for our granddaughters. Only 2 left in stock. 1 in factory box which was ok. Other one in shrink wrap and hardware gone. Obviously it was brought back from another dissatisfied customer. Tried to get parts but informed they had to order from manufacturer It was an NFM error and customer service people do not listen Only solution. Wait for parts. Suck it up or bring back. Probably will. No box included on this return. Shove it. Not the complaining type but this rubbed we wrong.

Original poster here with a follow-up: It’s not good! If you notice in the comments here, Nebraska Furniture Mart posted their apology and a note I should contact them.

It must be useless boilerplate, because I immediately emailed them, saying that if they meant it, I am still willing to work this out with them.

I have NEVER heard back from them. Their horrible customer service continues.

You are correct. My husband and I bought $3500 of furniture and were under the impression that over 66 months, our payment would be approximately $54 per month.

We received our first two bills asking for a minimum payment of $137.00-$142.00 only to be told that we would have to pay a minimum of 4% per month to avoid interest and late fees. Well, if we paid 4% per month, why are they telling us 66 MONTHS INTEREST FREE?! It sounds like they want us to pay it off in 25 months, not 66 months. My husband received the Military Discount as well and at NO TIME, did our sales lady state that this would change the financing terms.

We are PISSED!

Companies should NOT deceive the Military and Veterans in order to achieve financial gains. Its dispicable!

Bad mattress

Purchase this mattress on 07/13/2017 and now have an impression that makes you feel like you have to roll up a hill when trying to turn over. They informed me that the test showed the mattress to be within spec. This is the test, they stretch a level across the bed from the left to right side and measure the distance from the mattress to the level. This is done in three places, next the inspector press down on the mattress to represent a person laying in bed. This is a false test because the inspector cannot get the same results as a 215 lb person laying in bed. I have been told that I must sleep like this until the mattress shows a depression of 1 1/2 inches in depression. $3043.00 spent on a piece of crap in my book. AIRELOOM does not and along with Nebraska furniture mart understand what customer satisfaction is nor do they care. I have been told that this is how to determine if a mattress is defected. Buyer's be aware that the first thing they look for is any type of stain on the mattress if they find one you have NO WARRANTY. Warranty from mattress company is not worth the paper they print it on. THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN SOLED SATISFACTORY THANKS FOR YOUR HELP

What happend to the customer service & customer is always right.

My wife and I bought a microwave and a dishwasher and took the microwave home at time of purchase & was suppose to pick the dishwasher up in a couple days. We decided to go a different direction so brought the microwave back unopened and sealed and cancelled the dishwasher which never left their facility. We paid "Cash" at time of purchase which use to be the best way to pay, and were told the could only give us $500 back cash at time of the return & would get a check in 14 days back for the rest. I have never heard such a thing before from any other store. I did not need the cash just said give me a check to put in the bank for the rest and they could post date it even, but their store policy is the checked had to be issued from Omaha, NE not Kansas City where we were. If you pay cash for something unopened or something that never left the store, then you should get all your cash back. They lost a really loyal customer who has bought a lot over the years.

To eliminate the risk of fraud or theft, we also only issue refund checks from our corporate office in Omaha.

The company to understand they are getting to big and forgetting who made them get where they are. The "customer"!!!

Horrible warranty service

We bought a couch Last year in July 2017 We had the couch for less than six months when one of the reclining side quit working. I called customer service for the warranty and after a tech came out to look at it and have parts shipped to my house was informed from customer service that they have to come and pick up my couch and keep it for one week to fix it. Why would it take 1 week to fix a couch and how do you function with one chair in the living room with children in your house. Since you had the parts shipped to my house there in s no reason why you can’t come out and fix it. Quality furniture is NO longer an option at nfm. Will never go there again

Warrenty Company`

Bought a extended warranty with Dryer, good for three years. The dryer will not heat up and assume its the heating element. Called their warranty company Assurant .. They scheduled a appointment with a third party company . They never showed up, called service company they claim never received the work order. Called Assurant, they will contact the service company and check on my order. Each company blaming the other for bad service. As of now Assurant has not called back . People, i have a none working clothes dryer and a warrenty company that will not call back ..What should I do ?
